The Power Game: Hagadan (ITV 27 Dec 1965, with George Sewell)
In Hagadan Bligh’s have two possible profitable developments on the table, Wilder has to decide which of the two offers the most money making potential. One is a motorway and the other is a hydro-electric scheme. He makes a new contact, Frank Hadagan, who is something of an engineering expert. Wilder wants him on his team.
Much of the episode is given over to relationship tangles, Wilder is embroiled in an affair with Susan Weldon and his wife Pamela knows he is seeing somebody, just not who. She has no intention of asking for a divorce but hires a private detective anyway to find out who Wilder is seeing. Meanwhile Hadagan, following a chance meeting with Pamela, seems rather keen on spending some time with her too.
