The Family: The Police ask Professor T to help them figure out how, in what order, and by whose hands a palliative care doctor, her husband, and their two children were all found dead in a grisly tableau on their living room sofa. Given the doctor’s outspoken support for assisted dying to allow her patients to die with dignity, is this a textbook example of “familicide,” in which one of the parents murdered their partner and children, or was there a disgruntled third party involved?

Dan and Lisa become even closer than before as Lisa is compelled to confront the truth about her father’s dementia as the investigation progresses. Professor T seeks assistance from Adelaide and Ms. Snares to confront his fear of intimacy after being challenged by Dr. Helena to face his fears related to his past, but the results are wildly inconsistent.
