Public Eye: The Comedian’s Graveyard (ITV 3 Sep 1969, with Tessa Wyatt)

In The Comedian’s Graveyard Frank is asked by Mrs Reid to look into the disappearance of her stage struck niece. The girl, 17 year old Judy is desperate to make it on the stage and has joined Billy Raybold’s Variety Show on Brighton Pier.

Frank quickly discovers her whereabouts but Judy has no intention of returning home.

Of course although he has got back into the private eye game Frank is still not happy, he’s a loner and he can’t stand having to answer to Rylands, his new boss especially as Marker doesn’t agree with much of Ryland’s credo. By the end of the episode he has walked out to go it alone – again.
