It’s a tricky one for Frank in John VII Verse 24 when a policeman’s wife comes to him asking him to investigate the fact that her husband is being victimised by a Detective Inspector on the make – his name? Percy Firbank!
There is a good chance for Percy to shine in this episode, especially in the scene where he puts Frank in his place “you don’t want another spell inside, do you.” By the end of the episode, and the fifth season, Percy has explained exactly what he was up to – leaving Frank with no small amount of egg on his face.
