Public Eye: My Life’s My Own (ITV 20 Aug 1969, Stephanie Beacham)

In My Life’s My Own, after three episodes of coming to terms with being out of prison and having to do work he has no interest in Frank is slowly edging back towards becoming a private detective. Although before he gets the chance he finds himself as nurse maid to Shirley Marlowe who has just moved into the same digs as Frank. She clearly she has some issues and indeed on her first night tries to commit suicide.

Although he’s not actually working as a private inquiry agent this is actually Frank back to doing what he does best, dealing with the failings of the human race. Much of the time it’s a two hander between Alfred Burke and a very young Stephanie Beacham as Shirley.
