March 2023 Dusty Baker:For a man of 73, Dusty Baker has accomplished a lot in the baseball world. Baker, a two-time MLB All-Star as a player, joined the Astros in 2020 as manager as the team tried to rebuild after being devastated by a sign-stealing scandal. As a result, Baker made history last autumn when he guided the Houston Astros to a championship while the manager was in his 60s. Among the most respected individuals in sports, Bryant Gumbel sits down for an exclusive interview. Producer: Chapman Downes.

Chris Snow: Chris Snow, assistant general manager for the Calgary Flames, has defied doctors’ predictions that he would die within a year after being diagnosed with the same form of familial ALS that claimed the lives of his father, two uncles, and a cousin. Strongman Brothers: Brotherly duo Tom and Luke Stoltman hold the title of Strongest in the World. At 6’8 and 6’4, respectively, Tom, the current World’s Strongest Man, and Luke, the European Strongest Man, weigh in at close to 400 pounds. The sport of weightlifting not only brought these Scotsmen closer together, but it also helped Tom overcome his autism, making him a world champion. Correspondent Mary Carillo reports. Bryant Gumbel hosts this investigative sports newsmagazine series that features in-depth reports from "Real Sports" correspondents Mary Carillo, Bernard Goldberg, Frank Deford, Soledad O’Brien, Andrea Kremer, Jon Frankel and Gumbel himself. The series airs monthly, and each hourlong edition contains four segments. Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel has won multiple Sports Emmy Awards and in 2006 became the first sports program honored with the duPont Award for excellence in broadcast journalism by Columbia University.
