Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes airs a new episode tonight Wednesday 1 February 2023 on BBC Two.
“Steph McGovern” Robson takes TV host Steph McGovern on a tour of Northumberland in search of outdoor activities that will help them relax and unwind.
They leave the scenic village of Craster and travel to the neighbouring Druridge Bay, where they attempt to harness the wind and try their hands at kite-buggying, all the while trading anecdotes along the way. Robson and Steph go beachcombing with a sea-foraging specialist to find food.
In search of novel outdoor activities, Robson travels interior to the Ingram Valley, where he spends the night in a hillside hut before embarking on a guided buggy safari of the area’s fauna and sceneries.
