While she is encouraged by her developing sense of competence in assisting arriving stroke patients, she is swiftly reminded that she still has a great deal to learn and experience.

Meanwhile, in the emergency room, nurse Mikey assists a man who was knocked off his bike and blue-lighted in. While 21-year-old Caitlin cares for a patient who has been admitted due to convulsions, rheumatology nurse Nivea is determined to keep her crown as the cannulation queen.
