Journalist Mobeen Azhar journeys to Canada to look into the puzzling disappearances of men from Toronto’s gay village.

One day following Toronto’s annual Pride parade in the summer of 2017, a gloomy shadow descended upon the city’s gay community. One man had disappeared as the street parties started to wind down. Andrew Kinsman was the man’s name.

When Mobeen investigates what took place, he discovers that Andrew was a well-liked local with a reputation for maintaining a regular schedule. Although Andrew’s friends organised search teams, it eventually became apparent that Andrew’s face was not the only one on the village’s missing person posters. Another man was present.

The detective who oversaw the police investigation is introduced to Mobeen. They initially had trouble finding leads, but eventually they made an unlikely progress. a hint that Andrew himself left. The close-knit neighbourhood is rocked when the suspect is made public.
