Later on the show, Deepa Shastri discusses a new play called The Father and the Assassin that is being performed at London’s National Theatre. The assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, a seminal event in Indian history, is explored in the play. This is a rare glimpse into history as seen through the eyes of Gandhi’s assassin, Godse. Many people believe that the play draws parallels between the nationalism of that time and our own. So, what do we take away from this?

At last, we get an inside look at the British Library’s rare book restoration process. Dr. Roger Cox, also known as the “book doctor,” has spent over twenty-five years preserving books.
