What can we expect from this episode

In the first episode of the new season, we meet a group of driven business owners who are looking for an investment from the Sharks. A medical eye patch for children, a herbal soap for eczema, and a low-calorie chocolate bar are just a few examples of the novel products on the show today.

Billionaire Mark Cuban, owner and chairman of AXS TV and outspoken owner of the 2011 NBA champion Dallas Mavericks, is one of the Sharks, along with real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran, the “Queen of QVC” Lori Greiner, technology innovator Robert Herjavec, fashion and branding expert Daymond John, and venture capitalist Kevin O’Leary.

During the 2023–2024 broadcast year, “Shark Tank” will host an impressive roster of special guest “Sharks,” including the following: There’s Daniel Lubetzky, CEO of KIND Snacks, Camino Partners, and Starts With Us; Jason Blum, CEO and founder of Blumhouse; Michael Rubin, chairman and CEO of Fanatics; Candace Nelson, CEO and founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes, CN2 Ventures, and Pizzana; Emma Grede, CEO and co-founder of Good American, and founding partner of SKIMS. Each of the five guest Sharks will make a separate appearance in episodes alongside the regular cast of four Sharks.

Like previous seasons, this season’s episodes of “Shark Tank” will feature follow-up stories, giving viewers a look at the outcomes of certain investments.

Entering entrepreneurs have one shot at persuading the Sharks to invest in their businesses, providing them with the capital they need to turn their ideas into multimillion dollar enterprises. The “I wish I had thought of that” business ideas and products are on display for all to see, courtesy of the good, bad, emotional, and even absurd pitches.

The Sharks aren’t just interested in making a profit; they also want a piece of the action when it comes to the next big business idea. The Sharks are always prepared to go to war for a piece of the pie, but they really only do so when they hear an idea they really like.
