Spanish Scifi Thriller The Shelter Now Streaming on SBS On Demand

The Larraín brothers, who won an Oscar for producing A Fantastic Woman and La Jauría, are behind science fiction thriller series The Shelter.

Victoria, a mother of three, arrives at her ex-husband Damián’s farm to pick up her children and head back to the city when rumours of a bizarre phenomenon known as “The Hum” start to spread. Paranormal sightings, strange noises, and talk of a possible alien invasion dominate the internet.

Initially regarded as a prank, this quickly spirals out of control and takes over all news coverage. Soon, a multitude of individuals descends on the farm, desperate for shelter, and the family must make tough decisions to protect their loved ones.
