Steve Harvey’s Funderdome Episode 8 (ABC 6 Aug 2017)

Episode 108: The seed-funding competition reality series “Steve Harvey’s FUNDERDOME,” featuring two aspiring inventors going head-to-head to win over a live studio audience to fund their ideas, products or companies. The audience will represent the customer, and since the customer is always right, they will be voting to determine the winner.

This week’s inventions and the aspiring inventors that will go head-to-head are:

Pet Pita – a sturdy cloth with holes for feet that allows you to carry your pet easily and safely. Inventor: Bryce from Potsdam, New York
X-Purr – a unique scratching post for cats. Inventors: Natasha and Arloa from Los Angeles, California
Weave Dryer – a device that helps prevent mold and mildew from ruining expensive hair weaves. Inventor: Michalyn from Missouri City, Texas
Restroom Kit – a pocket-sized package that contains essential items that are often missing in public restrooms. Inventors: Sonia & Bill from Clinton, Maryland
Imperfect Produce – a subscription service for cosmetically challenged produce. Inventor: Ben from Emeryville, California
Lalabu – shirts that allow both men and women to hold their babies close to the body. Inventors: Keri and Brian from Atlanta, Georgia

Before revealing the results of the crowd’s majority vote, host Steve Harvey, the highly popular stand-up comedian, actor, author and Emmy Award-winning game show host, will present the inventors with a major dilemma. One of the inventors is allowed to cash out and walk away for a lesser amount. If an inventor cashes out, they forgo the opportunity to win the whole cash prize for that round – a good move if they lost the crowd vote, but a bad move if they would have won it.

Series: Steve Harvey’s Funderdome Season 1 Episode 8

Hazell Gets The Boot

In Hazell Gets The Boot Hazell finds himself more or less coerced into taking on a supposedly simple job for villain Dave Castle. His Bently has been stolen and he wants James to get it back for him. Hazell’s investigation leads him to a scrap yard where the car is being hidden. He gets more than he bargained for when two of the Connell gang ambush him and give him a thorough going over.

Meanwhile Hazell’s love life is also going through a troublesome patch. Patsy Flanagan is spending some time at his flat after having a dust up with her husband. Hazell is keen for the arrangement to be just a night or two of pleasure but Patsy is keen on a more permanent arrangement.
