Beneath the Surface: A group of journalists revealed a troubled past for native Sámi women, men, and children in Norway in 2014 as a result of a tip-off. It exposed decades of carelessness, abuse, and suffering, and was backed up by a tonne of data and never-before-seen archival material.

The community maintains its defiance in the face of a judicial system whose actions expose cracks in the pretended equal treatment of all citizens as the case moves forward in court. The fight being waged by the community aims to end the cycle of racism and bring about significant, long-lasting change for coming generations.
