The semi-final round has begun, and the competition is fierce. What will happen when three designers, each with their own distinct style, tackle the spare bedrooms in their apartments?

As the grand prize draws nearer, our designers are beginning to consider how they might actually live in the space. What if they actually put everything they’ve learned from Dara to use and demonstrate the potential of these areas?

Will they take a chance and advance? Or will they revert to old habits and fail to progress? Judge Dara will have to make a difficult choice, but who will advance to the final round?

Season 1 Episode 7

AJ Odudu presents this contest in which eight up-and-coming interior designers battle it out to make over – and ultimately win – an apartment of their own, worth £250,000. Judge and award-winning architect Dara Huang pushes their creativity to the limit as they work on a different room in their apartment each week. At the end, if their keycard lights up green, they live to compete another week. If it’s red, their time in the competition is up.
