Series: The Brothers / Season 1 Episode 5

David is trying hard to learn as much as he can about the business, even going on a job with Bill Riley. He very much has his eyes opened when he and Bill return to London with an empty load, he realises that Hammond Transport could increase their turnover hugely if they could make more of two way trips whilst Jennifer has a lunch date with new salesman Frank Walker who is trying to persuade Hammond to take on a new accounting system.

All of the Hammond board are expected at the annual party of one of their major clients but Brian cries off with work, Jennifer is unsure whether she will be welcome and David and Jill share a few home truths which doesn’t spell much of a future for their relationship.

More machinations from Ann who has a fling with a fellow she meets at the party (interestingly he is clearly only an extra and doesn’t say a word although he does get a credit as The Man!) and also something of a front and centre episode for David although the real star of the episode is his girlfriend Jill’s cleavage!
