The Challengers: Whose Law? Whose Order? (S1EP4 ITV Mon 24 Jan 1972, with Joanna Van Gyseghem)

In Whose Law? Whose Order? Building work on the much heralded new factory estate is finally commencing but the locals are distinctly unimpressed at the amount of immigrant labour being brought in to work on the site. Killane and Brodie become involved when trouble flares and the police come under attack accused of negligence – children are playing on the site and parents are concerned about the dangers.

The week’s TV Times had a two page feature on co-star William Gaunt and his love of the quiet life living in a well appointed cottage in the Cotswolds.
