Today Monday 30 January 2023, there is a new episode of The Farmers’ Country Showdown.

Wensleydale Show Katie, a young farmer from County Durham, has just finished her A-levels and is fully immersed in the task of raising her herd of Jersey cows. Katie faces the trials of the morning rush to ensure that her cows will do well in the judging ring at the Wensleydale Agricultural Show in North Yorkshire, where she is accompanying her parents. Beth and Luke, two siblings, hope to take over the family farm someday, and they see the success they have had with their pedigree Limousin cattle as a key to their future.
