What is this episode about

The return of the award-winning series! After Tayo Oguntonade, Simon O’Brien, and Carys Davies win an auction for a house, they give a pair of total strangers a set amount of money for renovations and only a few months to turn a profit. In exchange for their cooperation and hard work, the profits from the property are theirs to keep if they are successful.

In this episode, window cleaner John is paired with interior designer Steph to renovate a 1950s semi in Southport into a contemporary family home. In order to get the house back on the market and make a profit, Simon O’Brien gives this dynamic duo only six months and a small budget.

The house, however, is a veritable treasure trove of ingenious hiding places, such as an old ship’s wheel that activates a pulley system leading to the attic. In order to save enough money for a down payment on a home, their greatest challenge is deciding what to keep and what to get rid of.
