In Jane the second episode of teen drama The Intruder, Arnold is still reeling from the arrival (and departure) of the strange man who claims to be the real Arnold Haithwaite. What are his motivations for his arrival in town?

Meanwhile his friendship with new girl Jane begins to grow.

Catherine Lacey who played the elderly Miss Hendry had a long career in British cinema and TV, with TV appearances back in 1938 as well as making her film debut that year in The Lady Vanishes. Always in supporting roles rather than the lead she had all but retired by the time of her performance here.
