The Intruder: Miss Binns (S1EP4 ITV Sun 23 Jan 1972, Jean Alexandrov)

In Miss Binns, Sonny aka The Intruder is back, this time he is not alone and it’s beginning to be clear to Arnold that Sonny has plans for Skirlston.

The Intruder was James Bate’s TV debut, he had a reasonable career throughout the rest of the decade with a strong role in the popular series The Regiment (1973), as well one of the main roles in The Stars Look Down (1975) and The Spoils of War (1980).

There is a little bit of confusion over the role of Miss Binns, IMDB lists Coronation Street icon Jean Alexander but the TV Times lists Jean Alexandrov. Alexandrov, who also appeared in 1969 play Suspect, is correct.
