In Since Then I Have Used No Other, butler Redvers Bodkin has decided it’s time that Clifford cashed in on his title. He thinks he should begin working for the company Rent-A-Peer.

Well known faces in this episode include Sharon Mughan who later in this decade added an extra a to her surname to become Maughan, she is married to fellow actor Trevor Eve and scored quite a few strong roles in this decade including one of the main roles in Granada TV’s hugely popular serial Shabby Tiger and a strong role in the final season of The Main Chance.

Ivor Dean, who died a couple of years after this episode at the age of 56, was probably best known for his role on The Saint as Chief Inspector Teal. Around this time Dean was also appearing in Dora Bryan starring sitcom Both Ends Meet. Hardworking Paul Freeman, who has notched up over 130 film and TV credits in his career was her making only his second TV appearance.
