The assassination of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme in 1986 is the subject of this riveting four-part Scandi Noir thriller. A shocking incident that has been called “Europe’s JFK shooting” by some.

The murder investigation into this case lasted for 36 years, during which time over 10,000 people were questioned and 134 confessions were received; however, the case was never solved. This investigation relies heavily on the personal papers of late best-selling author Stieg Larsson (who wrote The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), whose pursuit of the truth consumed him. There are a lot of unanswered questions about what happened that night, who the killer was, and why they did what they did.
