The Messenger Episode 3 airs tonight on ABC.

Ed (William McKenna), exhausted but relieved to have finished his mission, is dealt another card, the Ace of Clubs. The end, he now knows, is not near.

A difficult puzzle written on the Ace of Clubs reveals three additional names. A priest in dire straits, a dead girl with a mysterious past, and a father who bets without knowing the consequences.

Ed (William McKenna) tracks down the school bully he knew, now an adult bully who enjoys playing pokies. With the help of his unreliable sidekick Marv (Chris Alasio), he uses some less than legal means to make the thug realise what he has to lose if he continues to cross him.

Next up on Ed’s (William McKenna) agenda is finding the priest. Ed (William McKenna) has had a rough go of it on the cards, so he wrongly assumes the priest has a shady past and takes action based on that assumption, only to find himself trapped with a threatening and irate man of the cloth.
