What is this episode about

The crew works on a pair of unique wooden sandals from the 1800s in Punjab and a garden ornament of great sentimental value for a recently bereaved grandfather.

Claude and his daughter Kesi are the first to arrive at the barn, carrying a potent memento from Claude’s political past to show to paper conservator Angelina Bakalarou. Claude unfolds a black panther velvet poster he bought from a street vendor in 1987. The poster is in disarray. At the time, the image represented Claude’s inner fortitude and resilience, and it reflected his maturing sense of self. Having fallen on hard times recently, Claude is eager to restore the black panther poster to its former glory and draw strength from it.

Then, Quentin and his stepson Tim arrive with a very important package. Quentin’s grandson Miles gave it to him when he was a kid, and the family is hoping metal whiz Brenton West can make it look like a bee again. Miles passed away a few months ago after battling an aggressive form of bone cancer and leaving behind a grieving family. In memory of his grandson, Quentin is now working to bring attention to the disease and restore the bee to its former glory. Brenton is hard at work restoring this priceless relic, and the work is crucial to him.

A new camera expert, Pierro Pozella, has joined the stable’s roster of accomplished professionals. As his first assignment, he will be taking care of a camera that belonged to Harry’s grandfather, who worked as a graphic designer for ATV at Elstree Studios in the ’70s and ’80s. The dual-lens camera was used both on set and off to capture precious moments with his loved ones. The camera is in disrepair at the moment, but Harry is determined to use it again in honour of his imaginative grandfather, George.

Although Dean Westmoreland, the town cobbler, is sure-footed when it comes to fixing most things, he must be very careful when working on Nasrullah’s ancient wooden sandals. His great-great-great-grandfather, a farmer in the Punjab, wore them back in the 1800s. The shoes are a significant part of Nasrullah’s heritage, and he would love to wear them again. Dean must investigate the shoe’s history to ensure that his restoration is appropriate.
