The Six Wives of Henry VIII: airs a new episode tonight Wednesday 22 March 2023 on BBC Four.

Catherine Parr Henry, fat and elderly, takes his puritan bride Catherine Parr on a final pilgrimage to the church. The new queen reunites Henry with his daughters Mary and Elizabeth, who had been estranged from the family due to religious differences, but she also manages to upset the king by engaging in religious debates with him and his counsellors.
