The Wedding Veil Journey

The Wedding Veil Journey airs a new episode tonight Saturday January 21 2023 on Hallmark.

On January 21, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Hallmark Channel will premiere “The Wedding Veil Journey,” an original movie starring Alison Sweeney (“Chronicle Mysteries,” “Hannah Swenson Mysteries”), Victor Webster (“Workin’ Moms,” “A Christmas Cookie Catastrophe”), Lacey Chabert (“Party of Five,” “Haul out the Holly,” and Autumn Reeser (“Entourage,” “The

Other notable cast members include Jane Asher (Death at a Funeral, I Give It a Year). Portions of the movie were shot in Greece.

In the final installment of the franchise’s sequel trilogy, Tracy (Sweeney) is now the auction house’s head, and Nick’s (Webster) restaurant is so successful that he’s considering an expansion. Because the couple’s success prevents them from spending much time together, they delay planning their long overdue honeymoon until they arrive at Greece.

They find themselves stranded on a lovely, remote island without a place to stay, so they check into the inn operated by Tessa (Katerina Geronikolou, Moonstruck) and her well-intentioned, if clumsy, brother Xander (Alexander Nicolaou, “Casualty”). Nick offers to assist out in the kitchen when he learns that Xander has been stepping in as chef, despite the fact that his cooking is disgusting.

While this is going on, Tracy meets Leo (newcomer Ché Grant), a charming youngster from a local boarding school whose creative talents are matched only by his aptitude for getting into trouble. While Tracy is convinced that Leo needs her assistance, the school principal does not share her view (Andreas Karras, Crooked House).

Before long, Tracy is thrown into a mystery when the refined Lady Dalton (Asher) and her grandson Colin (Nicholas Banks, Kingsman: The Secret Service) arrive at the hotel. Tracy had intended to give Nick’s sister the veil, but it mysteriously continues showing up in Colin’s bedroom.

Now that Colin and Tessa are sparking, even Tracy, who has been suspicious of the veil’s mystique, may be forced to reconsider. Tracy and Nick’s honeymoon may not be what they expected, but as time goes on, they may realize that it’s precisely what they need.
