Thriller: The Killer With Two Faces (ITV 25 Jan 1975 with Ian Hendry)

In The Killer With Two Faces criminally insane Terry Spelling (Ian Hendry) escapes from the institution he is being held in and immediately goes on a killing spree. Meanwhile his twin brother Bob, an architect, has just met pretty designer Patty Heron (Donna Mills) but thanks to a mis-communication Patty, who wants to show Bob around the new house she has just bought, ends up meeting Terry there instead….

It’s amazing how many episodes of Thriller feature key scenes set on trains, here the first meeting between Bob and Patty takes place on one. There is a good strong opening segment and the central idea of twins, one good, one bad is pretty good but by the end of The Killer With Two Faces it has become something of a pretty girl locked in a house with a killer episode. Hendry is fabulous as always though.
