In Funny Peculiar, Not So Ha-ha Daffy has discovered Marmaduke, the Tottering Towers ghost, she and Dick decide that Miss Twitty can help them exorcise them. The Duke meanwhile is more interested in his newest invention – a fishing bicycle.
Character actor David Lodge notched up a 191 film and TV credits in a long career that began in 1954, he was a great friend of Peter Sellers and often appeared in his films. He was often cast either as a crook or a policeman.
Robert Gillespie who plays the ghost Marmaduke had a long string of character parts from the 1950’s onward before playing the lead in popular early 1980’s ITV sitcom Keep It in the Family.
