Triumph: Rock & Roll Machine (AXS TV Wednesday January 25, 2023)
On January 25 at 9PM ET/6PM PT, AXS TV will telecast the world premiere of the critically acclaimed rock documentary Triumph: Rock & Roll Machine.
In this critically acclaimed rock documentary, one of Canada’s most iconic bands is given the spotlight, with cameos from Kiefer Sutherland, Sebastian Bach, John 5, Brian Posehn, Lawrence Gowan, Phil X, and many more.
Featuring chart-topping guitar anthems like “Fight The Good Fight,” “Hold On,” “Magic Power,” and “Lay It On The Line,” the film tells the true heavy metal underdog story of Canadian outfit Triumph. The band’s signature sound and revolutionary stage show rocked fans around the world and skyrocketed the band to superstardom. Rock & Roll Machine is an excellent documentary that rightfully highlights the contributions of Rik Emmett, Mike Levine, and Gil Moore to the hard rock scene of the ’70s and ’80s and captures the band’s long-awaited reunion.
In addition to Emmett, Levine, and Moore, Rock & Roll Machine features commentary from a slate of fellow trailblazers who provide rare insight into the band’s enduring legacy. Highlights include appearances by EMMY-winning actor and musician Kiefer Sutherland, legendary vocalist Sebastian Bach, guitar mastermind John 5, Styx singer Lawrence Gowan, comedian, and metal enthusiast Brian Posehn, Bon Jovi guitarist – and former Triumph member – Phil X, and more.
Triumph: Rock & Roll Machine was produced by Banger Films (Alice Cooper, Iron Maiden, Rush, and ZZ Top) and directed by Sam Dunn and Marc Ricciardelli. The documentary was funded in part by Round Hill Music, Triumph’s global record label.
Airdate: Wednesday 25 January 2023 at 9.00pm on AXS TV.
