Today Monday January 16, 2023, there is a new episode of Urban One Honors.
The 5th Annual Urban One Honors 2023 Tank, an R&B musician and actor, will play host for the awards night. LeToya Luckett, a Grammy Award-winning singer and actress, will conduct an exclusive behind-the-scenes interview session with the night’s honorees, artists, and presenters.
This year’s honoree class, with the theme “Celebrating Icons of the Culture,” includes a prestigious group of individuals who have left an indelible mark in the fields of entertainment (Entertainment Icon), humanitarianism (Inspirational Impact), musical innovation (Music Innovation), and philanthropy (Phoenix Honor). LL Cool J, winner of two GRAMMYs and one NAACP Image Award, will be honoured as an entertainment icon, while David Mann and his Grammy-winning wife Tamela Mann (TV One’s “The Manns”) will be recognised for their inspirational impact.
