Vera airs a new episode tonight Sunday 5 February 2023 on ITV.
“For The Grace Of God” Conn Burns, a decorated and hardworking Lance Corporal, saw his life fall apart after he left the military and had to start over with his young family. After a series of poor decisions, Conn found himself destitute and living on the streets of Newcastle as he struggled to readjust to civilian life.
Conn had recently been making decisions that would see him settle old debts, mend connections, and get him off the streets, but a terrible secret from his past and betrayal in the present left his future looking uncertain and fatal.
