The third episode of Vigil follows Detective Amy Silva as she investigates the deaths of a crew member and a land-based investigator, Kirsten Longacre. Kirsten’s investigation into the deaths leads her to uncover a cover-up involving Scottish politics and a near-catastrophe in the U.S.

Meanwhile, Amy is feeling increasingly unsure of who she can trust on board the HMS VIGIL, especially after receiving a message from Kirsten that suggests deliberate undermining.
