What’s Happening on The Bidding Room Today Thursday 11 August 2022 on BBC One; Five more vendors are welcomed by Nigel Havers to the Bidding Room, where they work with expert Simon Bower to try to sell their goods to knowledgeable dealers who are looking for unique items.

Sisters Georgia and Mimi enter the room first, each carrying a peculiar artefact that belonged to their grandfather. Dealers will undoubtedly be drawn to their anatomical spider model, but will anyone have the guts to purchase it?

Kerry comes next with a silver box that he hopes will catch the dealers’ attention and result in a profitable transaction. Paul is looking to sell a gallery sign created by a well-known Cornish artist. He hopes to make a good deal, but can he convince the dealers to make a purchase?

Next to face the dealers is Mike, who has brought in an iconic piece of design. His Keswick light fitting is industrial and desirable, but will anyone get near his high price tag? Last in is Ruth, with a rather curious piece of Victorian design. Her wooden side table, which transforms into a commode, is sure to catch the dealers’ attention, but will anyone want to own it?
