The film, helmed by Kasi Lemmons and starring BAFTA Award® winner Naomi Ackie, was written by Academy Award® nominee Anthony McCarten and produced by legendary music executive Clive Davis.

With breathtaking performances and a score of the icon’s most beloved hits as you’ve never heard them before, the movie takes audiences on an inspirational, poignant, and emotional journey through Houston’s groundbreaking life and career, from her beginnings as a New Jersey choir girl to her status as one of the best-selling and most awarded recording artists of all time.
