Who-Dun-It: Don’t Shoot The Cook (S1EP10 ITV Tues 21 Oct 1969, William Russell, Norma West)

Published

on

In Don’t Shoot the Cook, gentleman detective Jeremy Moon is back centre stage. In the middle of an expansive luncheon at the Hotel Splendide the pianist in the orchestra drops dead. Moon suspects foul play.

William Russell is the most prominent name in the cast list, best known for his role as companion Ian in Doctor Who during the William Hartnell years. Norma West is also a familiar face though, with many guest appearances from the sixties onward. The wonderfully named Lally Bowers was also a TV and Film regular from the 1950’s until her death in 1984.
