Who’s on Late Late Show Tonight Friday 11 November on RTE One; Rhys McClenaghan will discuss how he became the first Irishman to ever win a gold medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, why Katie Taylor is his idol, and how it felt to realise a dream he has had since he jumped off his first trampoline at the age of six.

Prior to receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards later this month, singing sensation Mary Black will perform with Ryan. She will talk to us about her amazing life and musical career and perform a few of her favourite songs.

Martin O’Neill couldn’t have predicted the path his decision to switch from GAA to soccer would take him down—winning cup finals at Wembley, competing in European Championships alongside the legendary Brian Clough, and managing some of Ireland’s biggest victories over the past ten years. Martin will talk about everything, including his thoughts on serving as the manager of Ireland now that the dust has settled.

Sean McLoughlin, a native of Offaly and YouTube superstar known as Jacksepticeye with a whopping 28 million subscribers, will join us on Friday night to celebrate his tenth anniversary in the business.

Comedian and author Rory O’Connor, aka Rory’s Stories, will talk about comedy and the value of perseverance after struggling in school and going on to write four books and share stories with over 1 million online followers.

For the purpose of raising money for therapy services for kids with special needs, Ryan will speak with 12-year-old Tipperary resident Cara Darmody, who passed her Junior Cert Maths exam in June. She will discuss what motivated her to take on this challenge and how she plans to approach the Leaving Cert next year as she waits for her results.

Additionally, Dublin musician Ailbhe Reddy will perform as she prepares to start a run of UK and European tour dates. Ailbhe will perform Shitshow, her most recent song.
