Married at First Sight returns to Channel 9 for a tenth season on Monday 30 January at 7.30pm for what is sure to be another intense roller coaster season. It’s time to meet the brides and grooms who will walking blindly down the aisle. Layton is 35 and from NSW. He is the CEO of a biotech company.
Self-reliant would be underselling Layton significantly. Layton has been an entrepreneur since he was 19 years old, and his most recent venture is in the field of medicinal cannabis for pets.
Layton claims to be highly motivated and ambitious in his professional endeavors, but he is less committed to making love a priority in his life. Because he has a hard time compromising, he usually prioritizes his career over personal obligations. The result is that his relationships suffer because he is unable to devote as much time to them as he would like outside of the office, on the computer, and in meetings.
At the age of 35, Layton has come to terms with the fact that he is the only single person in his tight-knit group of friends. The two of his parents are quite close, and he plans to be around to help them as they age.
Layton has spent a great deal of time in recent years reflecting about and reassessing his values. He wants to find a partner to help him expand his business who is as hardworking and ambitious as he is.
