Death Race 2000 (1975, David Carradine, Simone Griffeth)
Produced by Roger Corman and directed by Paul Bartel, this is a firmly tongue-in-cheek version of Whacky Races, a coast-to-coast car race – except points are awarded for dead pedestrians as well as final placings. With DAVID CARRADINE and, in one of his earliest roles, SYLVESTER STALLONE. At the time of release, the film was greeted with outrage but it is now seen as a classic of the Corman school.
