I Saw the Light (2016, Tom Hiddleston, Elizabeth Olsen)

I Saw The Light is a biopic about singer and songwriter Hank Williams who rises to fame in the 1940s, but finds that alcohol abuse and infidelity take a toll on his career and marriage to fellow musician Audrey Mae Williams.

Not so much a movie more a series of vignettes of Hank at specific points. There is no real sense of how popular he was and the movie is played on the downbeat.
