This Belgian-Italian movie tells of the last year in the life of the legendary muse of Andy Warhol, Christa Päffgen, stage name Nico, singer with the band Velvet Underground and a woman of legendary beauty. She gained a new lease of life after the story everyone knows, when she launched her solo career.

The movie tracks the last few years of her life, beginning in 1986 when she is living in Manchester in the UK and trying to get a tour underway and battling against heroin addiction.

Trine Dyrholm is outstanding as Nico.
