Shock to the System, A (1990, Michael Caine, Elizabeth McGovern)

A dark comedy starring Michael Caine as a middle age NY ad executive who after being passed over for a promotion as a department head decides to climb his way to the top over the dead bodies of those above him, literally. After doing away with his annoying wife, portrayed by Swoozie Kurtz, he systematically begins to murder his fellow employees one by one. Elizabeth McGovern is the young co-worker he takes up with.

In 1991, shortly after appearing in A Shock To The System, Michael Caine published a book entitled Michael Caine On Acting. He also appeared in a documentary entitled, Michael Caine: On Acting in Film, Arts and Entertainment.
