Venom (2018, Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams)

In Venom (based on a Marvel character but not part of the MCU as it’s being released by Columbia), when Eddie Brock acquires the powers of a symbiote, he will have to release his alter-ego “Venom” to save his life.

Hardy said of playing the character ‘There’s something funny about the circumstances of having a tragic gift. It’s a superpower you don’t really want, but at the same time, you love it. It makes you feel special. He’s both a reluctant hero and an anti-hero.’
