You Were Never Lovelier (1942, )



FRED ASTAIRE and RITA HAYWORTH are paired for the second time in their careers (their first outing was in You’ll Never Get Rich) in this knock-out musical. Astaire plays a dancer on Broadway who finds himself at a loose end in Buenos Aires. He attempts to find work at a top hotel in the city only to find himself embroiled in the proprietor’s marriage plans for his daughter (Hayworth).
