HBO’s “100 Foot Wave” continues its exploration of the world of big-wave surfing this Thursday, and it appears the McNamara family is riding a wave of change, both in and out of the water. “Chapter V: Family Business” finds the McNamaras settling into a new life in Montaldo, Italy, seeking a fresh start after years of chasing monster swells. But as any surfer knows, the call of the ocean is hard to resist.
When word of a substantial swell off the coast of Morocco reaches Garrett, the itch to return to the water proves too strong. Joined by Cotty and Chumbo, along with his son Titus, Garrett heads to Safi to take on these tempting waves. Meanwhile, Justine, pregnant and watching from the shore, faces the challenge of being sidelined from her own surfing passion.
