The show, hosted by Kelsea Ballerini, will celebrate country music’s finest, with a mix of performances, collaborations, and awards.
The highly anticipated event, taking place at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, will feature a special collaboration between Little Big Town and Sugarland, marking their first joint performance in 13 years. The two groups have a history together, having shared the stage at the 2007 CMT Music Awards, where they performed alongside Jake Owen.
The awards show will also include a tribute to the late country music icon Toby Keith, featuring performances by Brooks & Dunn, Lainey Wilson, and Sammy Hagar.
The nominees for the night include Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, Megan Moroney, and Cody Johnson, all vying for top honours. Ballerini, the four-time Grammy nominee, will not only host the show but also perform her newly released reimagined version of “Love Me Like You Mean It.”
