The episode opens with a dramatic airlift. A 56-year-old motorcyclist arrives with severe injuries, requiring immediate surgery to save his leg. The tension in the operating theatre is palpable as doctors work against the clock. Meanwhile, 53-year-old Mike arrives with a different kind of injury, a reminder that danger lurks even in the most ordinary tasks. His attempt to compact rubbish at home resulted in an unexpected trip to A&E.
