The award-winning documentary series returns for its 33rd season, offering an insightful look at the lives of patients and staff within Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, one of the busiest A&E departments in Europe.

In the season premiere, we meet 38-year-old Milky, who is rushed to the hospital after a high-speed motorcycle accident. As doctors assess his injuries, which could potentially change his life, his wife, Kinga, shares how a surprise pregnancy transformed their lives.

The episode also features adventurous dad Shaun, who took a tumble while skydiving with his teenage son. The focus shifts to determining the extent of the damage to his ankle. Additionally, six-year-old Coby is brought to the emergency department after swallowing an unknown object, leaving everyone concerned.
