The Food Network’s culinary competition series 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing returns with a new episode, “Teamwork & Artistry,” on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 8.00 pm. The episode, hosted by Michael Symon and Esther Choi, presents the chefs with their toughest challenge yet: teamwork.

Symon, a chef, restaurateur, and television personality, is a familiar face on Food Network, hosting shows such as Burgers, Brew and ‘Que, Food Feuds, and The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Choi, an influential chef driven by her Korean roots, owns and operates mokbar and mokbar Brooklyn, and is a partner at Ms. Yoo. She has appeared on various Food Network shows, including Beat Bobby Flay, Chopped, and Throwdown with Michael Symon.

In this instalment, the contestants must collaborate with chefs they have only recently met, navigating the challenges of strategy and execution under the watchful eyes of guest judges Michael and Bryan Voltaggio. As the competition enters hour 13, Symon and Choi present another daunting task: transforming microwave meals into culinary works of art. Judge Eric Adjepong will decide which chef must clock out.

The episode continues the show’s intense culinary marathon, where 24 chefs face 24 challenges over 24 consecutive hours, with the lowest-scoring chefs eliminated along the way. The competition is divided into eight shifts, each testing a different culinary skill, including speed, resourcefulness, artistry, and adaptability. The last chef standing will take home a $50,000 prize, their biggest single-day payday ever.
