“48 Hours” presents a Crime Time Double Feature with back-to-back encore episodes airing this Saturday, June 8, on CBS. The first episode, “Live to Tell: Sole Survivor,” tells the harrowing story of Robin Doan, who, at just 10 years old, survived a vicious attack that took the lives of her mother, stepfather, and brother. Robin, believing the gunshots she heard were from a nightmare, woke up to the terrifying reality and played dead before calling 911. Now, she recounts that fateful night and her journey to recovery.

The second episode, “Who Wanted Nicki Dead?,” features an exclusive interview with Nicole “Nicki” Lenway, a crime scene investigator who was shot and left for dead in broad daylight. Nicki, in her first television interview, speaks with correspondent Erin Moriarty about her experience and the search for her shooter.

In “Live to Tell: Sole Survivor,” viewers are taken back to a tragic night in Pampa, Texas, where 10-year-old Robin Doan found herself in a nightmare. As gunshots rang out in her family’s home, one of the bullets grazed her leg and arm, while the others took the lives of her mother, stepfather, and brother. The lone gunman fled, leaving Robin to play dead before she made a chilling call to 911. Now, she relives that traumatic night and shares her story of resilience and recovery.

The following hour, in “Who Wanted Nicki Dead?,” viewers meet Nicole “Nicki” Lenway, a crime scene investigator for the Minneapolis Police Department. In broad daylight, Nicki was shot multiple times and left for dead in a parking lot, with the entire incident captured on camera. Despite the shocking nature of the attack, Nicki survived and, in her first television interview, speaks openly about her experience and the search for her shooter.
